  • Solid top mounts - yt motorsport -or- Verkline top mounts -or- stock?

    Hi

    Hi

Searched and read through some posts on the forum but can't say I became any wiser.

Looking for some new top mounts for my project (S2 3B 91' model).

Going to match it with either KW v1/v3 or H&R Monotubes.

Not quite sure the advantages/disadvantages regarding the top mounts.
Is the meyle hd / original top mounts bad quality or does it fail more often with coilovers?

Would like to change them once (at least for a while) and forget about them.

Going to use the car on sunday drives on normal roads, no track driving.

      Hi Sir.

Perhaps just this once, I'll try to give a shorter answer than Alex.

      One of the above:

      Strut-Stops

        Hi Sir

And who is Alex? And where do I get those or do I have to machine myself?

          Lars,

Please excuse my attempt at some self-deprecating humour, I meant Error404. By "those", if you meant Strut-Stops, there is a link to an ad in the 1st post of that thread which is required reading that you can also contact me through, but it's certainly easiest to simply PM me right from here sir.

          Cheers,
          David
