    Hi Sir,

I believe the difference is simply whether one has the original brackets for a factory Rr. A/R bar (a change which first appeared on the 1990 model year cars) on the sub-frame; their presence displaces the rod's inner mounting points inboard from cars not so equipped; this increases the rod's length requirement; and that presence or absence of said length is evident in the neck under the end-eye of the inner-most section of the rod appropriate to each type. These are the short-necked ones illustrated at 7zap, I suspect those would be the "A"'s. 1st photo is of a long one, likely a "B". 2nd photo, a short "A".

A definitive answer is a little more work.

Edit: OK. here's a photo of the long-necked one for the with A/R bar cars, it appears to have the dealer sticker on it and you can just make out the front end of the letter "B" after 499.
