Slotted top nut (castle nut) for topmount and KW V1
Slotted top nut (castle nut) for topmount and KW V1
So I'm about to install some KW V1s in my 3b coupe and it looks like they only came with the top nut, not the slotted one that's inside the top mount. I don't have my stock shock absorbers anymore so where can I find those slotted nuts?
It's the ones that are fitted with the VW524 tool.
Prob be a call to the dealers I'd think..
On my coupe I fitted poly Mk4 golf top mounts matching down by Alex (error404) mk4 golf bearings and retaining nuts.. You have to adjust the coilovers for the taller mount but other than that it's simple.
Thanks for replies!
I'll be using the stock strut-stops (the ones that prevent the struts from falling out when jacked up).
Now I have some options to look at, also found Alex's thread: https://www.s2forum.com/forum/techni...-iv-a-new-hope
