top mounts, top mounts, top mounts

Aoplogies if this is a boring subject for you lot, but searching the forum has not provided a definitive for me.
I have B4 v6 Quattro Avant with factory sport suspension (same as S2 but four stud and 2pot calipers). I have S2 H&R lowering Springs and before that the original s2 springs. I am tired of the damn top mounts malarkey. I can't find the sachs 802 453 top mounts that would work with the mount savers. ...and to be honest I still don't get how that works, but happy its a well trodden path, but can't find the mounts...

Has anyone found a solution to get the standard Febi's to last more than 5 minutes?
Or an alternative that works outside of solid top mounts?
There must be a polybush equivalent that works somewhere? even of a different vehicle that needs turning down a bit or I don't know.
Anyone, been there, done that, got the t-shirt and can save me 100hours messing around?

There is no cure for this, it has been a problem for decades. If you consider the basic design, with an M12 hole, is same part as used in a Polo from around 1992 (and backwards compatible to the beginning in 1974), its use in the 80/90 up to the type 8C of 1996, any trainee engineer could see it wouldn’t be reliable. The best solution I have found is the TRW JSL104 which seems to be the most reliable of the multitude available, including the original 8A0 412 323 D from Tradition.
