Ive just bought a Whiteline rear ARB, and have been looking for a RS2 Front ARB for some time, as i wanted to fit them together, had the car up on the ramp at the weekend to replace 2 engine and 2 gearbox mounts, measured the front ARB and its 28mm which im sure was the size of the RS2 one...
this would explain the terrible understear I get!
am going to try and get the rear one on asap to see what difference it makes
It'll make it turn better. I'm running an OE 26mm up front and a 25mm at the rear. Not too mental
How did you measure it? Best thing is a set of calipers, can be quite difficult otherwise.
Try a 26mm front item if it is an RS2 one, did this to a mate's S4 with HnR ARBs, it was a bit dull on turn in so fitted a stock FARB and it was better.

Who wants neutral handling, oversteer is fun :mischeif: ... except when it happens unexpectedly on a slippery, narrow, twisty road in a car you've not owned very long

Tis funny, on the Golfs fitting a fat roll bar on the front can actually decrease understeer due to less body roll
I removed the front anitroll bar on my mk1 valver and had a massive shine racer anitroll bar at the rear.. made a very quick car through the twisty bits and track..
Sounds like you gone got yourself an RS2 FARB then. If it's still a bit inert then try an OE 26mm item and see what you think. If you're running lowering springs then it'll roll less anyway.
