This is not for the subframe, it is the bush on the bottom of the hub carrier which connects to the outer of the lower arm...

Just noticed something else, all the A4 Quattros use the 8D0 505 171 part number, right upto a 2002 RS4. Hmmm

the difference must be only cosmetic, and there are front and rear ones (talking about the rear subframe)

Hmm, yeah it would be nice to know the difference in the two. If it is density its not so bad

Would be interested in these too as i have to order some new ones, good book list the following under 1994 S2 Avant,

    8A0 505 171 C >> 8C-R-001 000

And under 1994 RS2 Avant it also lists the part number below.

    8D0 505 171 8C-S-000 001 >>

Curious as to whats different on the later cars, anybody know?

Can anyone give me the OE part # for these bushes?

I am calling powerflex back on thursday to speak to them re making these but they will have a minimum order quantity. So who is interested in a set?

Any others required, like diff mounts etc?

    Cheers

******! Powerflex assured me they did it on the phone but it seemed all too easy which is why I asked here. Maybe someone near them can donate their avant as a test fit car to them?

I tried and failed (probably could have tried harder though!) ended up buying new tie rods (ended up buying direct from a company in Germany, cheaper than UK).

Thats the rear lower arm rear bush, not the rear lower arm outer bush.
I've just totally rebushed my car and could not get poly's fpr the rear lower arm outer bsh, so had to use OE instead.
