Solid front subframe mounts, The verdict !

    Bang on !

Front end is now much tighter and the car appears to be more stable over bumps.

To be fair the 2 rear bushes had had it so not to difficult to remove the other 2 put up more of a fight. All good though even managed to paint the subframe whilst I was at it.

To sum up If your thinking of fitting a them do it !

    cheers

                .

Swapped to a front set about a month ago...haven't noticed any worsening in noise or vibration, just better front end response.

Only on my 90 20v though...

I've got a set of 034 offset ones coming, hoping that they will add steering weight and make handling a tad sharper too.

As I said, over bumps car bounces around a lot less only slight down side is I get a little more transmission noise, only noticeable in first gear and I do mean slightly more.

                          cheers

So whats going on there? You offset the subframe forward to increase rake and therefore trail? Won't the engine move with it?
