europeanme: If there is enough interest i will make some brackets, also depending on time i have 6 weeks of work atm, but also becomes father soon, so if i have time then yes

Depending on the length of the 'arm' on the ARB (not the link, this is irrelevant). a 19mm bar can be stiffer than a 22mm one if the distance from the two mountings is much shorter on the 19mm one. (distance between where the link mounts and were the ARB is secured to the subframe).

While its fresh in my head from a family album session today...

Stock S2 RARB is very weedy - maybe 12mm diameter (8A0 511 409G) - common to all B4 quattro actually.

RS2 RARB is better at 16mm with p/n 8A0 511 409 L - this is a well known upgrade for B4 quattro owners.

There are some other options worth capturing here -

1 - 2001 RS4 (B5) lists a 15mm bar as 8D0 511 409
2 - There is a 'heavy duty' 17mm bar listed for same RS4 without a part number
3 - Whiteline offer an 18mm version called 'BAR14Z'

Pretty sure Neuspeed have something bigger again, and I have heard talk of 22mm bar from whiteline - to be confirmed. Anybody else ?

Before ordering a Whiteline RARB i searched 'BAR14Z' to find out if it will fit on the avant as i was not really sure.
Found this so i ordered the BAR14Z. As i now know it does not fit

Maybe someone can chance it? I now ordered a BAR13 for a B5 Quattro
