As long as they are real drag tyres without side armour, then fine.

Centerline Convo-pro rims. 7.5" front and 8.5" rear. i went with this rim as it is really lightweight. less rotating mass, weight, etc.

tires were matched to within 1/4" rollout by John @ M&H personally, due to the all-wheel drive setup.

          the Backspacing of the rims are 5". 4 x 4.25" (which is 4 x 107.95mm close enough).

and these are actual wrinkle wall slicks. offroad or drag use only.

          and i do use MT's on my FWD drag rabbit, 24.5" X 9" / 13's....

MH and MT (M/T) are separate companies.

sorry, i didnt think anyone wanted to see about the FWD car.....

i have two drag chassis. neither of which are at the levels that you do, but mine are just my own projects that i built myself in my garage at home. sorry i was being confusing or vague....

I'm just curious because im about to buy some slicks for mine [b] i have found that many of my friends that race prefer MT for the 13" sized stuff in the 24.5's, so thats what i went with there. for the coupe i went with the size i wanted and chose M&H as they are a little bit wider contact patch for the same size tire. not that i know anything about this stuff....

Sorry, didn't want to upset anybody, just that not all know these brands.

Tomi has 10.5-26.5-15 M/T ET Streets in the red coupe, and the best 60ft has been 1,28.

In RS he has same front tyres as in the red one, but 11.5-26.5-15 ET Streets at the rear, and so far the best 60ft has been 1.26.

                  Yes, DOT tyres.

and that is bad *** times for street DOT tires, as well.... if i got 1.4's that would be the cool stuff for me.

My best is 1.79 on just normal road tyres so i was hoping for 1.5 60ft with slicks.

I think knocking off .2 seconds is reasonable.

                      What are DOT tyres?

                        Street legal.

Your car is awd right? With ET streets I see no reason why You shouldn't be able to hit 1.3's on glued strip.

Up now I understood that the coupe uses DOT tires, 1.26s on glued track. My problem is that we don't have glued track, so my best time will by 0.3s slower.

Have any one tried drag tires? Like the MH on the pics above.

Why chose DOT (radial) tires in stead of drag (diagonal) tires on an AWD car?

both cars meet streetcar regulations with original lights, side blinkers and stuff. In street class we are obligated to use street tyres.

I'll probably buy 4 DOT M/T an a pair of drag slick for races where the regulation allows it.

Which drag slicks need no burn out?
