I've doen some searching on here but cnat find a definite answer, is the V6 subframe the same as the ABY? Can it be used on an S2 without any modifications? I need to replace mine, it's fairly rusty

V6 has some reinforcement pieces welded on around the inner seam (so is heavier) but apart from that its the same -

These are the 2 opinions I've found on here, some say they are the same and others say the 5 and 6 speed are different. Has anyone actually fitted a V6 subframe to an S2 ABY? I've found one I could use but dont want to buy, sandblast, paint, fit new bushes etc if it doesnt fit
