Loosing Power steering fluid - Help with hoses

I'm loosing power steering fluid and it seem to come from my rubber pipes.

There is a 3-way piece that connects 3 hoses from the steering rack, reservoir and one more place. All hoses seems to be in really bad shape

Can anybody point me in the right direction where I can find them in the family album?

Hello, this is a common problem on S2 ABY and RS2, I don't know on 3B because I have not it, if you want change all the pipes I think that is expensive. My RS2 for now have not problems, on the S2 I have cut the original metal connections and put a pair of professional and very good quality clamps made from Wurth on every one pipe and I have not problems from years.

You may find that some pipes "sweat" slightly after many years use, so even fixing leaky joints/fitting may not fix it completely.

My recommendation would be to remove all of the hoses and then go to a hydraulic hose specialist.

They will be able to make up a duplicate set of hoses, which should be far cheaper and easier than buying from the dealer. Then you have piece of mind that they have all been replaced.

Worked a treat with my quattro.

Just bought the hoses from audi with my discount etc it was 100 euro. But I only needed the return hose, and hose to the steering rack and hose to the brake bomb. The hoses where leaking where they are joined together.
