Always liked FK highsports on my other cars, these are for my fwd (B4) Audi 80, just wondering if anyone has had them before and whats the handling/comfort like with them?
Also will these just be an insert into the front strut or will it include the strut aswell? Hope you understand what I mean as I bought springs and shocks for the car about a year ago and it was just the insert but im just unsure as to whether the coilover will be the same?
I use a kit like this on my ABY Coupe ... Frankly speaking I dont know if I have a problem with setting them up correctly or they are just like that. First of all first set got broken after 2kkm ( only the fronts ) and I was waiting for reclamation process about 3 months. Now I have a new ones and for now they are working well, I have them set up on soft ( half a turn from full soft ) and I feel like car has tendency to bounce ( dont like it ). The road arent too good so I dont want to make them stiff cause I dont want them get broken again ...
After short time of using them I would consider to buy hrs or just the regular b8 from bilstein ... but its just my opinion
Under a month ago I tried to order a set of Königsports from fk, but after numerous emails etc to the factory they told me they list them in the brochure but doesn't make them. I don't know why they list them if they won't sell them.
Well, story short, I wen't and bough kw v3
It took about 10 days to get it from factory to finland and under my car. So really fast service, compared to fk's many weeks and emails and no coilovers.
