Why is so hard to get an S2 aligned???????

I have all my track adjusters freed off and brand new tyres so I can give an honest appraisal after some spirited driving :mischeif:

Went to Lodge Tyres Birmingham today and had my alignment done. Clive was on holiday this week so Derek set it all up, he did a great job, the handling is spot on now. Highly recommended.

Were all the bushes and adjuster rods ok

Just back from my second visit to Lodge Tyres, needed the alignment doing again as I had the subframes off earlier in the year. A local alignment "specialist" gave up when I took it to them as they couldn't get the camber right.

So took it into Clive today, he did a great job, spent at least 2 hours on it and got it exactly as I wanted it. I was allowed to observe and have a good look around underneath the car while he did the job.

All the staff were very friendly so I can highly recommend them again!

What's there charge bud, I need to get my avant done, I've used chemix the first time around and when they finished they gave me some bull about if the camber needed to be done its an extra charge at that point I fell out with them and they lost all of our business, I used to send atleast 5 cars a week to them easy, so then I used Bmtr which again lost all our business because after telling me over the phone cambers not adjustable, I explained to him how to do it, only to get there and they feed me the same bull. We have a hunter 4 wheel alignment machine now but I can't find an s2 avant on there. So it's proberbly easier and less headache to use someone who knows the brand

I paid £72 including VAT, that included all adjustments. He did my coupe today and has done GT500's avant in the past too.

Killed a new set of Falkens in no time !

Looking hopeful now we've got some good recommendations and Ive just googled it and realized its about a 1/4 of a mile from my old mans
