Power Steering Fluid- 95 S2Avant

[Tonybolony]

Can anyone tell me if I can buy suitable PAS fluid from a Motor Factors instead of having to travel miles to nearest Audi dealer?

GSF stock it and there may be other factors who stock a mineral fliud suitable for our Audis.

I've used Citroen LHM fluid in my system in the past when I've been stuck which you can get from the likes of Halfords and it's been fine but I can't "recommend" it because I can't be certain it's specification is close enough to the Audi fluid - although I'm pretty certain it is.

Cheers Lads,
Need to get some before tackling the weeping "X" plug on the PAS Pump.
