Audi Coupe KW Coilover Kit £1500???

I've recently been looking to purchase a Coilover Kit for my Euro Look coupe project and it would seem that due to the model I think KW are the only ones who may do a kit for it??

My Coupe is a N reg 1995 2.0E thats soon to undergo a engine conversion, and it's a project I started many years ago when I couldn't afford the insurance on a S2, so I'm just wanting to finish the project, and it's just the Coilover Kit and Engine to do now!

If you've not already seen the car so far then you can see it here..

I know some guys that own a Alloy Wheel Business called ProjeX in my home town, they basically got me a price of around £800 for the Variant 1 with KW factory pre-set up dampening and height adjustment and then around £1500 for the Variant 3 race technology for the road with adjustable compression and rebound damping!!

Anyone want to give me some advice??? Am I right in thinking the later kit will be better for a more comfortable ride due to having adjustable compression and rebound damping ? I'm not going to be using the car for racing or driving like an idiot, but I am wanting it to be low yet as soft as possible, if that makes sense??

Oh and what do you think about those prices???

I bought my KW V1 kit from here http://www.balancemotorsport.co.uk/search.asp . Was very pleased with the service and they were very competitively priced. Brilliant bit of kit by the way.

You have to think whether you will use the adjustment or not, is it worth the extra money on a road car? I have V1s and the ride / handling compromise is very good, I don't think I'd change it to be honest

Speak to Yaz on the forum, he might be able to get you a good deal.
