In my experience Powerflex are tricky to install as the fitment is very, very tight and once fitted there is zero movement by hand, except around the bolt axis. So either there is a manufacturing defect (unlikely I think as PU is cast) or you have a problem with the wishbone.

It also looks lke you are missing at least one washer between the bush and the subframe as not only does the wishbone slide on the bush, but the bush slides on the sleeve, indicating there is a washer missing. HTH
I agree, you have to beat them into the subframe with a mallet the fit is so tight. It looks like he does have the white washer either side of the bushing but its hard to tell for sure. Infact the bushings look fine to me, i think the problem is the a-arms.

Does anybody know a factory dimension between centers of the arm ends?

        I'll try to measure them...

I had 4 pressed steel ones here.
I measured with bushes removed. So its internal dimensions from the outer of the arms were:
          1s pair was < 293mm >
          2nd Pair was < 292mm >

I just test fitted an arm and it doesn't seem like I'll have the same issue! Hopefully !
There a very tight fit, so tight the washers might be tricky to fit!

                But I guess that's a good thing ?

I fitted mine into cast fronts and pressed rears now 4 yrs ago (no squeaking since either)

No such issue, no movement at all and with the washers a very tight fit into the mounts on the subframe.

I agree with others, there are issues with either wrong bushes or something wrong with the wishbones....

Yep, they are difficult to get in with the nylon washers

I believe I'll be fine in this case cheers for the replys ^.

I wonder if the original posters arms had some distortion from a o/e bush change previously ?
Pressed in without support between the eyes kinda thing!
Curious as to the outcome of this! Seems more wrong the more I look

Do you have dimensions for the rears?

The avant rears are not "parallel" so I picked a spot in above pic to measure.

                              Without bushes its 356mm / 357mm

                              Hope that helps.
