    Wishbone on powerflex movement (video)

    Good day!

Is it normal when wishbones moves on bushes?

How does it affect on catser settings and straight-line stability?

Honestly it not correct, someting is wrong. Your geometry is completely changing, I'm saing it is unstable. With that fault you can't pass MOT for sure.

Just to add, I have powerlex bushes allround and as far as I remember that isn't so much space.

The rear bush looks to be too small and the wishbone shoulder able to ride up over the collar of the bush. Would not be nice to drive.

oem is less hassle and lasts longer imho, in this instance.

I suspect you may have the wrong bushings, i.e. bushings for the cast arms not the pressed steel version.

How long you have been running car with powerflex bushes?
Is it or was it properly tightened according to the previous powerflex spec? Are the plastic washers on each end? Did you use correct lenght of steel tube?

I remember that thers was not so much space after the fitiment. Did you receive correct part number for your car?

                  Is the arm bent?

Are the 2 bush housings on the arm too close to each other?

This is what I was wondering

The bushes for the cast arms are significantly bigger than the pressed ones. I don't think they'd fit if this was the case.

Maybe, but there was "PFF3-101( Fit 37mm Pressed Arms)" label on the box.

I have done 200-300 km so far...

                          1. It is tightened more than it should be (I was trying to hold wishbone by subframe)
                          2. Wishbones was in excellent condition after sandblasting and powdercoating
                          3. There are all washers and steel tubes from the kit installed, and I hope that they are on the right places.

On the wishbone the powerflex bush should be fitted opposite each other.

{= wishbone =} Like this if you know what I mean. Not {= Wishbone {=
