    power steering problem

Hi all, I have a strange power steering problem, when at standstill if I turn left or right it seems like there is no power steering but when driving it feels ok , it very difficult to get into a parking place.
From what I can see there is no leaks ive bled the system by going lock to lock any ideas??

Sounds like you have no power assistance, when your driving below say 30 MPH does the steering heavier than it should be? Any warnings on the Autocheck?

Normally it would be the belt slipping that would produce the symptom you have. You sure it's good and tight??

Yeah, can't really see what else it can be unless there's some sort of pressure relief valve in the pump or rack and I'm pretty sure there isn't.

The brake bomb is there solely to provide back up pressure for the brake servo, it's done away with and the pump modified when going for vacuum servo assistance so I can't see it being that. I'd try re-tensioning the belt and if that fails fit a new one before looking at anything else.
