The rears are shorter free length (uncompressed)

Thanks Rusty. The problem is they already fitted to the car so I can't compare the length. The reason I am worry about that is that i have thicker springs on the front and thinner on the rear and I noticed on my mate S2 with also stock springs that it is the other way round.also,on mine car,on the front with fully extended suspension(example on the ramp)the spring seems to be loose/im able to spin it around and I don't think its normal

In this set, pic taken just now.
              Fronts are 14mm
Rears are slightly shorter and slightly thicker at 14.7mm
Not sure where I got these and why I have a question mark!

I fitted s2 suspension to my type85 90 and always thought I had the springs the wrong way around as the front sits about 3" higher than the rear but this contradicts my idea. Surely the front isn't that much lighter on typ85? Need stiffer rears and lowered stiffer fronts now.

If you have the springs the wrong way round, then the rear of the car will be high and the front low. It should sit level. On 17s, my car stock had a floor to arch top height of 660-670mm.
