I see where you're coming from in regards to more expensive setup. But I feel like I won't be using setups' full potential, and so paying for something I won't be using fully.
I've talked to people who are using orange KONI shocks and are pleased with them, of course I won't know till I swap them out.
Rear top mounts alone cost £90 a corner so to have Bilstein setup I'm looking at good £700 and I don't know if it's worth it on a road car.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

I'm quoting you.
"I see where you're coming from in regards to more expensive setup. But I feel like I won't be using setups' full potential, and so paying for something I won't be using fully."
If thats what your thinking why didn't you go and buy a shopping trolly, how about a nice Nissan Micra,well that's your argument Janis.Unless i'm severely mistaken the last time i looked at you you were a young man not an old lady. You will be using the suspension 100% of the time from 5mph all the way up to the speed limit
.The difference is chalk and cheese all of the time.
One other thing,80% of your ride issues you mention is mainly due to very worn out bushes. I probably ought to keep my Koni Sports shocks as to replace them as you said would be £640.
Buy the Bilstines of Yaz for a lot cheaper,they are a very good shock!

I guess you're right.
I don't like slowing down for speed bumps
I will be removing the shocks and inspecting top mounts and shocks before buying anything, as it doesn't cost me anything and I'll enjoy doing that.
PM me Mark about the yellow KONI you might have for sale, mileage, age etc. And price of course.

Since you said no earlier i though about it from my perspective for a minute or 2, i was actually trying to do you a favour in the heat of the moment but having thought about your rejection earlier i would be mad to sell them.I like the firmness of them so would like to try both setups to see which i prefer. The biggest problem i have with asking these questions of people is no one seams to know the difference between this and that.At least i will be able to make a direct comparison and therefore help others. I would recommend you contact Yaz, he will get you a very good price for the Bilstine B6 shocks ,they are extremely good shocks.96 URS6 plus speck saloon

By "not slowing down" I was meaning these speed bumps;

Not these horrible things;

Been looking at shocks, and noticed Bilsten makes 2 types, B6 and B8, I assume B8 is uprated where B6 is stock type of shocks?
Also B12 lowering kits, heard problems with them being too high?

Grasshopper, I gave you perfect info.You need B6 shocks. B8 is the same as B6 in terms of ride quality but it has a shorter piston travel if you have lowering springs.Thats the only difference. Just order them of Yaz. B6 is not a stock shock it's superior to the original Boge shocks.
I ordered of Yaz and so did Craig.

DO IT.

Just seen Daves reply. Part of that first decription list is now old and no longer applicable.When i spoke with Bilstine direct You cannot order of the shelf B6 Comfort shocks and they don't call them HD any more just B6.

That they were the same as the B6 but shorter travel due to shorter piston.
Marketing men need a lot to answer to when it comes to their blurb. That list appears to make out the B8 is the "ultimate" some how better than the B6.They are not. To the people the blurb is aimed at 8 has to be better than 6.Go figure!

Just want to look at all the options I have available before buying anything.
Considering that I want to lower her, B12 lowering kit is the best option as it comes with B6/B8 shocks and lowering springs.
