    Coupe Droplinks

Need new droplinks for the coupe. Mine have balljoints both ends, a spare leg I have (which I think is from an avant) has a balljoint at the bottom and a bolt through the top at the leg.

I've found these on ebay Linky and there are 2 types, 90-92 and 92-96. My car is a 92, how do I tell which ones?

That link didn't do anything for me. Are you talking this 89550538 rear drop link? My info for it has it in a ACOQ from 1989 to 1996 no break in 1992. Or the ones on the right? Very likely doesn't matter which.

I think the other leg you have is a rear as stated.

And so the great plastic vs metal drop link debate begins again. Define better....?

Mmm, other one might be a rear, the link is like the single one with bolt that dave posted, the lack of a steering arm would be a givaway.. I will look...

Actually based on my C4 experience, I didn't realize that the Coupe front anti-sway bars had a drop link. I thought it was just the rear bar.

The front drop link 8A0407465 seems to look like this:

Ball joint bottom with bush at the top is the rear drop link.
Front are as per the pic with the TRW plastic one. Plastic is lighter, Porsche chose a thicker steel item for the RS2 presumably for a reason. I have TRW plastic ones with my RS2 front arb with no issues - go figure.
I used to be a die hard steel drop link proponent but I have been converted. The plastic ones are lighter and don't rust.
