rear diff mount.... which way?

I assume that on the pic in the link the arrow is pointing upward ..... to give full support for forward and rearward movement of rear diff....

Is this correct??? anyone

I changed the rear diff mount bushing yesterday, and the old bushing were mounted with the arrow pointing uppwards.

Same part for VW Golf Mk1 GTI o/s engine mount, same part number as well.
