NO NO NO, you've got me wrong, let's get things sorted.

      1. Yes, we want to copy design, because I expect that thing is designed better than I can do. Also I see no point reinventing the bike, but I want uderstand why it's designed like that, why, and how it fits the car, because I will need that knowledge designing our own bracket from existing materials.

      2. NO, I will never ever sell it for profit. I'm computer system engineer and cars are only my hobby. Sometimes I sell the spare parts, but ONLY for self cost.

      3. 100$ + VAT + taxes is a bit of expensive for the person who owns the car. Let's say it's about 1/4 of his total monthly income. Would you pay that ?
Especially taking in mind that we "in the club" do have big sheet of 6mm steel, dedicated weekends and can lend MIG (?) welder .

Let's not argue salaries, and level of living in different countries, and between persons. It's seriously out of scope of this forum.

Ever heard about savings for 5 years ? . Actually it's not for me, it's for "member" of our "quattro turbo" club. He is a working student, and if you remember how much money they usually get here for a month.

Not in it for the money, although the money is needed to survive and pay the bills, it is not my motivation.

It seems that everything is clear to everybody - so can you now tell me why this bracket is designed in angled way ? I expected it to be flat, and was surprised that clutch cylinder mount is angled at 90 degrees. Where do two upper holes go ?

Does 034Motorsport or quattronics hold a world wide copyright on the item?

Does 034Motorsport copy other peoples ideas, like the coil pack conversion for the AAN, using designs from others?

You would have to ask Javad about copyright issues but the coil pack conversion was not being marketed by anyone and they saw a demand as not everyone want's (or is able) to construct their own loom. My issue here was a blatant (at the time but apparently not in the clear light of day) attempt at copying a design that is being marketed).

The only copyrights I own are my own but I will look after the interests of another business.

To answer your question, it bolts to the steering rack mounts on the driver's side and to the firewall, all under the hood of the car.

                      Thank's . That's all I wanted to know.

However I want also add one more thing to this thread before locking it.

                      1. I've used wrong word to describe my intentions. I just wanted to get the idea of the support bracket (what is needed to support, how to fix to the ur, etc). Not copy design 1:1, but copy strong side of it. Final result will be crappy welded piece of iron which I expect to be strong enough to do a job. I don't have way to bend steel in such fancy way it's done on the original part.

                      2. 034 and Corey stuff is profesionally built and designed, which makes it far superior to anything we (me and my pals) make in local garage for ourselves. I do not sell anything. Due to limited finances possible to put on a car - I usually cannot afford to buy good solutions, so if it's possible to make something instead of buying - we do it.

                      3. Something you cannot build in the garage with amateur tools like calipers, turbocharges, and some precise stuff - I save money, think 10 times, and buy. So I'm still potential customer of the Corey (due to our idiotic customs, purchase from uk is 10x easier than from US), so please don't kick me with a stick!

                      Please stop the flame.
