just had a look under my car cus i had a rattle and when i twist the prop back and forward there is a rattle sounds like it is inside it tho ne1 know nething bout them

It could be the cv's at each end of the prop, try holding the flange on the end of the g/box and then twisting the prop to see if there is any play, do the same with the rear diff.Comment

Dan you need to look at 2 things here...
The universal maybe shot and deflecting all over God's creation down there. Since the prop is metal, it may
transfer sound up & down the shaft.
If that has happened all ready then the center bearing may be
shot too. I'd have a real hard look at the universal.
