  • Bleeding Clutch Slave Cylinder....

As i've not been under the car yet cos of the weather etc... Can anyone shed some light on bleeding the slave cylinder and how to replace it if necessary...

It may be obvious once under the car, but havent looked yet so if anyone has any helpful hints it would be appreciated...

    Cheers guys

Ant, I've not tried this myself but the slave cylinder looks like a f**ker to get at. Bleeding it will make you swear, replacing it will make you cry

Well that is totally different to a 3B! Looks like its part of the release bearing? Very common on newer stuff, but less so on old tubs like the S2.
I have never had the pleasure of taking a 6 speeder out, so I am unsure as to the setup. I will look on ETKA to solve this puzzle in my own head!! LOL

that link bit for the gear selector.... there is a black rubber cap thing, should this just pry off, cos if i can get that off it should be a lot easier!!
