I'm checking my gear box before riding but I have some problems in it

which would be the best option for repair?
Or with another type of gearbox can I get a better gear ratio?

In my opinion best option is sourcing another used gearbox with test driving the donor car before taking the gearbox.
What is better for you? CBL is “shortest” ratio 01E i know. Good for acceleration.

My doubt is that as I have to buy another gearbox
if I can find another gearbox code and with the 2 get a better ratio of shorter change

FDP rs4 b5 gearbox got shorter 3 and 4 gear. Fixit delieveres custom 1-2 gear with shorter ratio

Pinion bearing: 01E311220A

I would propably just change the bearing and leave the other. The first gear issue is just little noise, but you don't drive with the first gear for long periods. Can't see what the other damaged gear is, but does it make noise?

Here in Portugal is possible buy the bearing damage. I had same problem in my CBD!

My gearbox has 3 broken bearings and damaged primary shaft
I will look for another gearbox with the same reference of primary axis and repair it

I have already achieved the primary axis with the first widest gear of a 2.5tdi
