Clutch trouble

i dont think the slave cylinder would cause that problem if the slave cylinder was gone you would have problem engaging gears

Mine's a Spec, its a different basket.

Fair one, its only held on with 13mm bolt. Maybe order up a new one and wait the response of the clutch guy. Not too enthusiastic bout taking the box out again so any other ideas are welcome.

From Aelred, pics on 034, only a type 3 but quite aggressive, and the pedal feels a bit too light and high up IMO but as I say, it doesn't slip. Has a bit of a squeek sometimes on changes Clutches eh?

If it any consolation my Renault Kangoo's gearbox has started to make some really bad noises

Well i'm on the same setup as you Newsh. You have a stage 3? I'll have to see what happens and order one up

As I say, I'm not 100% convinced but it works ok, Ski has one in his car and he's very happy, reading the blurb on 034 I think I'd go for the +3 type if I did it again, or try to get a Sachs sport clutch

Who does Audiman get clutches from? Or you could call Doug at MRC and see what he says, a friend of mine is very happy with the RS4 clutch he got from him.
