  • Gear linkage adjustment RS2

How do you adjust the gear linkage and sharpen the the feel of the lever when locating a gear?

https://www.s2forum.com/forum/techni...ver-adjustment may help. I remember seeing in a manual a long while back. I'll see if I can find reference to it.

I'll need one too when they're ready.

This is a God send to many six speed owners, great work Alex! I'm fortunate enough not to require one as my RS2 has only done 100K motorway miles, though I may get one to keep in stock.

In mean time lubricate all pivot points with white grease, put the the car in neutral then slacken off the shift rod bolt, get a mate to hold the gearstick where it should be then pinch the bolt up again. This may help but is no replacement for renewing worn out component's.
