Does clutch choice affect drivability?

I'm keeping the repo manifold, but I think I'll go with a smaller turbo. Got a stroker block coming from Mr Partridge. Are you still running the rs2 turbo?
I have a spec stage 3 clutch on my ur quattro, it judders when cold, not as bad when warm. I think its a sprung 6 paddle clutch plate. Doesnt slip but bite is quite high so I'm thinking it may be on its way out
I dont remember it juddering when i first fitted it years and years ago

Nice manifold, I'd keep it too. 26/27 on mine, some Swedish hybrid. Makes mid 400's and 630Nm. Plenty enough to snap rear driveshafts, do you have any spares??

I need some bits myself. Theres a guy who makes upgraded driveshafts, Audrius I think

I might even fit a weightier flywheel, ideally a lightened rr one, you get too much noise/vibration transfer with the really light aluminium ones

are they snapping with the rear diff locked during launches ? or with it open?

One snapped with the diff locked. I'm not sure with the second as my son was using the car

RS2 unit sold a long time ago. Those stronger driveshafts require front hubs in the rear; they are not plug and play unfortunately. When I have chance I will try these folk http://www.cpsdrivelink.co.uk/driveshafts/

What part number is that 6 puck clutch from sachs? Is it only compatible with the 6speed boxes? Wondered it if would be viable with the 3/b 5speeder...

The friction plate is available for the 5 speed. I think it's the same one as the 6 speed. The pressure plates between single mass and dual mass flywheels are completely different.

Ah ok will take a nose. Is it useable in traffic, presuming it’s less binary than a 4 puck but not as progressive as a disc
