Urgent CV Joint Help please!

Now my ABS light has come on after refitting the CV joint. Any one else had this problem???????

I have the MOT on Tuesday and If I can't get the light to go out I will fail immediately.

Symptoms are:

Start the car - No ABS light. Drive it over 30 mph ABS light comes on whether you touch the brake or not.

I have done some research on here and will check the impedance of the sensor and try resetting the ABS ECU, but wouldn't mind a couple of pointers.

I can't get the sensor out of the hub either. Is there a trick? or do I have to get medieval again?

Any advice would be much appreciated, I am starting to have a sense of humour failure...

i had the same problem with my 80 quattro after fitting new shafts, my sensors seemed stuck, so i gently tapped them further in with a hammer and then twisted them out a touch...... Rough, but effective
