    S2/RS2 Shift Linkage issues

I seem to have exactly the same problems with RS2 shift linkage I procured from Europe. Same parts DOA. What did you do to fix? Was JHM able to complete a billit part?

Those 8A0 numbers are from a different car - would think we need the 4A0 numbers, but what is the U.S. part number - there must be a shaft that has this same ball and socket size. Is there a domestic part number for that socket that is pressed into the selector shaft? Shame if one needs to replace the entire selector shaft due to lack of a teflon/delrin socket that should be replaceable - BTDT on 4000 quattro.

Ben - ES2 not on the road due to flaky shifter.

      RS2 Shift linkage

Correction - 8D0 798 151 B does appear to be the correct part for the selector shaft from the RS2 linkage I am using. That part is shown in the afore-referenced S2 6 speed.pdf

Crazy they don't show a bushing that can be pressed in. Is this not even the correct selector shaft.

There must be a MacGyver type fix for this that someone has successfully tried?
