taken me a while to get the car mot d so i can run it on the road.
now done 210 miles! ( due to small sucking in water incident and lack of time) clutch feels no different
will it feel different once bedded in?
not gone over 60 mph and its driving me mad, having old ladies in micras flash me to move out the way
going to curborough on saturday so want to give it some beans, trying to get up to 400 miles by friday, but stripped out car on solid bushes isn t doing my ears or back any favours, ah well, the joys of modded cars

had reached 390 miles running in by the time i got to curborough yesterday
gave it som ebeans on a very damp/wet track
clutch held up fine, back to tyre slip now!
managed 5 runs before the heavens opened and soaked the track enough for me to call it a day, dont want to stuff it after finally getting it near finished (oh, and no trailer, drove it there and back instead!)

never bothered take any good pics, didn t think anyone would be interested in my scrap yard special
I felt very small compared to the high end Porsches , ex works escort cossie and R8 at curborough yesterday.
It started out as kv engined coupe quattro
i fitted arch kit
engine aby ecu remapped
standard 5 speed coupe quat greabox diffs etc
compbrake 4 pots and discs on front, standard rears, comprake top mounts
alloy subframe bushes all round, poly bushed all round
h n r springs, spax adjustables front only
s2 intercooler/oil cooler
standard kv rad twin pacet fans (still runs ok as long as fans on all time)
silicone hoses, roose inlet/others missmatched
wheels from a £150 gt i bought, unknown make
2nd hand cage
cobra buckets via ebay
battery behind seats
no stereo!

it might not be the best prepped/looking car, but i love it anyway and even though its been a slow job i m glad its getting nearer how i want it.
have rear anti roll bar to fit next, and some rs2 ones hidden in the stockpile somewhere i might try to fit
