    Hi Alessio

Have a look at http://www.elektro.com/audi/01E/ to see what you can learn there - perhaps you could email elektro for some advice.

Audi should be able to sell you a syncro yes. It will not be the pressure plate you are correct.

The syncromesh - Basically when you are in 1st the engine and gearbox input shaft are doing a set speed to do that road speed. When you want to change up to 2nd, doing the same road speed, the input shaft need to turn slower. When you press the clutch to change gear the input shaft doesn't slow down in the 0.5 of a second it takes you to change So the syncro does what the name says, it sycronises the speed of the two cogs so the can mesh together. It is basically like a clutch for the individual gears. It is usually 2nd gear that goes because this is normally where you are trying to quickly change gears thus putting more wear on the gears.

    I hope that helps you!

The problem is unlikely to be because you don't have the wide 1st IMO
Hello, I have already another gearbox, but I don't know if have the same problem or not, can I find the original syncro from Audi dealer?

I think that the problem can't be the pressure plate, because I have this problem only when I go up very fast from 1st gear to 2nd gear and the engine run at high rpm.
