Clutch choices from Sachs? for 450bhp?

I wanted to start a thread to find the best combination clutch/flywheel and pressure plate for my RS2 20vt project. My power goals are max 450bhp

Should mention rear diff will be swapped for torsen and center diff will be swapped for stasis torsen.

I want a comfortable and standard feel in the clutch as possible.

So far reading the threads on here the choice seems to be Sachs. My car will be used on the streets and freeway so nothing radical. I want maximum grip and comfort.

Wouldn't mind loosing some unsprung weight so considering aluminum flywheel.

What should I be looking to buy ?

What is organic and do I need it ?

Who is selling the parts? links?

I am not an expert at these sort of things so please bare with my ignorance on the topic
    Cheers mis amigos,
    _Anton

      Thanks for the response.

What pressure plate and flywheel would you recommend with the organic clutch?

Pressure plate must be Sachs not stock, the stock won't handle it long term.

Don't go alloy flywheel, a good lightened single mass will do just nicely.

I've sent you a PM as your based in the US Southbend clutches are a better alternative

You dont want aluminium flywheel if the car is to be used as you say. Ive been through this myself, and now I went the custom SM flywheel route with sachs Racing Dv.ment DM clutch kit.
Keep the weight down, but not lower than a OEM 3b SM flywheel, and you will get a good revving car with also the ability to keep the momentum when going off throttle and when driving in steep hills (street/freeway driving).

Just a free tip, but you must go your own way ofcorse.

No, not "straight from sachs", that is a dealer website, but I haven't seen them anywhere cheaper

Stock organic and the 707 pressure will fix it, stock flywheel as well.

Dont waste your time with Aluminium flywheels.
Too light and does not hold enough momentum for power launches.
I got my aluminium flywheel as a doorstopper in my garage, took it out and used a 7a single mass flywheel. (Ill sell it cheap if you want! )
I had alot of problems with Spec clutches - now i use a Sachs Race setup.
No problems - 11 sec 1/4Mile times - smokes the tyres off the line !

I already have the alu flywheel and was planning to put it on because I think the previous owner have installed a dual mass flywheel from the early 5 speed UrS4. But if it is that bad I might not install it.

                        What do you mean by?
