definate bearing issue. used to happen on subaru and on my corrado too. touch on the clutch pedal tightens it up and noise stops.

new bearing was the answer. seems the 034 one aintg that good then?

Don't get me started on it, recently anything i've bought from them for the S2 don't fit or work as advised.

Was major pi**ed with the 4" inlet that did fit correctly, people buying the 3" downpipes they don't fit just glad I went with a Sachs not Spec clutch!

Wouldn't be an issue if it was marked doesn't fit European S2!

I don't have one, you'd have to ask Prosty if he has the part number

well there is no us S2 but i get your drift. experience with the states in general dictated to me.

            1. direct fit is not direct fit and far from it.
            2. uprated part means it may be off a overhead valve v8. more hp in that engine but not per pot.
            3. british engineering still is the best.
            4. you get exactly what you pay for.

what i will say is that the knowledge levels and willingness to find the limits is a lot more common and we must thank them for that. also the supply and demand ratios for performance parts are better due to that pushing of limits.

glad i sold my spec 02m clutch and flywheel before i used it on the corrado.

is the 034 coil kit the way forward still? i remember a mate had 3 coils die on his kit. one of the first though. connectors corroded green.

Yeh, still driving me mad, cant justify pulling the box off again (done it twice already) just to change a noisy bearing, any other car...but not one of these.

I'm running the HO kit and I have had no issues with performance, there where some fittings issue with length of the wires from coils to spark plug (dont know the word) and also I got 7A plug connectors so it did not fit under the 3B 20V plastic cover.

There is a guy in Denmark that uses the coils from the new V8 engines from audi. They fit almost perfect and have integrated POS so you only need trigger signal. And they are dirt cheap
