Ebay S4/A4 Short Shift Kit??

How do these kits fit the 6 speed S2.

I cant see how they work with the S2 6spd linkage, it is totally different to the B5 and later set-up

Looks to me as if they are very similar,

Looking at the A4 shifter it has a type 89 p/n so I've gone ahead and bought the ebay kit and a golf shift bush

having went to fit this to my 90 it fits perfectly in the socket, however the end of the 90s selector rod is different to that of a A4 which having now looked my A4 is very obvious. So I'm going to use the dog off my original gear selector and a nylon sleeve over the end the ebay shift rod. I'll take pictures and post my drawing later, hopefully mill this up in work by middle of next week
