    Urq 20v

Does the UR 20v use crank needle bearing like the 3B S2??

Basically if you fit an AAN into a RR car, do you need to fit a bearing into the end of the crank? Im thinking you do?

I am looking into this as well, and I think you need the bearing that goes into the crank at the back side of the engine. I presume all 016 gearboxes are the same? I think Tonks4x4 or DJones will know the final solution

    It's discussed here as well:

      Gearbox

If you use the stock Ur gearbox, place a bearing in the crack and use the RR Flywheel/clutch.

Can you also keep the 3B flywheel and 3B clutch and connect the 016 box from the UrQ?

          No

You only need then a 200 20v or ur 20v clutchplate, because of the tooth on the axel

You won't be able to keep the 3b flywheel unless it can be modified as the gearbox shaft goes through the ur flywheel in to the crank where the needle bearing is. the 3b flywheel has the bearing in it

Yes and No. All 5cyl+016 applications require a crank type needle bearing but there is two types of them. An older and newer desing and the difference is in 016 main shaft end diameter. The newer bearing actually is the same used in many flywheels.
