Yes, can be fitted with it all in situ. Only thing that might be required is a tweak of the adjuster nut to open up a little space.

The OE rubber section on the ABY is identical to the 3B and 10v etc. and they seem to be fine. Based on this, I'd say it was a manufacturing error by Audi that has lead to these parts being so weak.

Shouldn't be long before I sort the design and get a price.

Looks good mate, would definitely stop them from bending and snapping where mine went.

Did you ever get anywhere with this rusty? I've noticed my clutch felt a little spongy recently, i just know that rubber joint is falling apart in there...

Roger, will do I had to change the material to improve strength and get the cost down as low as possible to make it worthwhile.

Finally got a batch of these through!

They're mild steel and have been zinc passivated for corrosion resistance. I just need to get some caphead screws and lock nuts to complete the kits.

Here are a couple of shots without the cap heads, showing how this braces the rubber mount and stops all movement of the joint and prevents failure and the very expensive replacement part!

I'll put up a for sale thread shortly.

Nice mod part rusty, but can you just confirm that the nuts do not pinch the pushrod rubber boot when the pedal is fully depressed

That's the prototype, the new one allows for the bolts to be used in the other orientation
