What about Falkens? i sold the 16" avus with new tyres on and kept the Dezents with the ditchfinders planning to get audi sportline s-line reps 18" so will either keep the s--t for winter wheels or mag to grid them.

Falkens are ok especially winter ones.. but as i said you should really just try a different set of wheels on first - well that's as far as i can help - if it isn't tyres then you have to look further but if it is - simple fix...

        Rear diff whine

Can the whine just be down to the taper bearings either side or the front bearing......what about the crown wheel and pinion?

        Cheers

I'm thinking of replacing the bearings and the seals but the nagging thought in my mind is that most of the torque of the engine goes through the rear crown and pinion.....so should i replace that?

I presume that although the differential pinions wear due to going round corners etc. they do not contribute to the whine.....advice most welcome

          Cheers
