That is the 012 5 speed transmission, the 01E never got a 3.70 final drive.

maybe a silly question but i have 2.8 v6 saloon with ABY but finding it to be way too low geared, i do have a 01E box so can i just change the box and still use the rear diff or do i have to change that too?

        thanks ben

I think if you change your box/diff you'd have to change the prop and driveshafts/hubs as well as the flanges of them are different.

Going from 5 -> 6 would need a prop swap for starters.

If you fit the O1E you will need to fit a 4.11 rear diff (s2 avant), the v6 is 3.89. The coupe/b3 diff has a different case.
