  • Subframe for DSY on B4 V6 sedan?

    Hi there. I'm currently building a S2/RS2 from a Audi 80 B4 V6 2.8 Quattro.

The rear subframe is the same as S2 avant/RS2 right?

The front subframe, do I need to change it for the DSY gearbox and the 5-cyl dieselblock?

Also, I'm going to use the 236mm dieselblock with the DSY. Is the DSY bolt on or what mods is required?

Please write too much then too little. Write a lot "good to know".

    Thanks

V6 subframe is the same as the aby 6 speed if I remember so not required
Dsy bolts to diesel block you need aby gearbox mounts and s2 linkage

Thanks for that Jamo! Which moutings? Now it is DSY S4 mountings. Too heavy too "try out" I fell, so better asking. 75 kilos of pure german engineering...

Seems that I must have the "spider" to get the linkage working. I don't have that. This is what I must have?

I think it's a RS2 linkage on the picture... same as ABY? I will get the ABY 6 speed mountings also

            rs2/aby linkage is the same.

You also need to make a small spacer for one of the corners of the spider bracket above, this can be something as simple as some nuts with the bolt thru, you will see what I mean when you go to fit it, its easy to overcome.
