Flywheel spigot bearing sleeve?

I am currently fitting an O1E gearbox to my 3B engine. I have bought what I believe to be the correct spigot bearing, it fits the nose of the input shaft fine. However the flywheel I have has a 31mm hole bored in it and the outside diameter of the bearing is 24mm? The circlips I have seem to be to fit the 31mm hole?

Is there an off the shelf sleeve that takes up this difference? The flywheel is a billet steel after market one. I did read some where about somebody having the same issue with a fidanza alloy one?

Hy Hamish! There are 2 types off flyweels.
1 with pressed spigot bearing...and one with ball bearing fixed with 2 circlips.
I think you have the last type flywheel.
I can give you the correct part number for the ballbearing.

It sounds like you need the 7A flywheel bearing, its what you would recognise as a proper bearing as opposed to the one you have.

Thanks for the replies! I have the bearing with the part no: 034 105 313 A. The flywheel does have 2 circlip grooves in yes. Could anybody confirm the dimensions of the 034 105 276 B bearing?

I had 1 received with the Spec clutch....but i cant find now....i use the 3B item...
Iff i find the bearing..i let you know the dimensions..
I am pretty sure is nothing exotic..
