If you look at the Sachs clutch route (uprated pressure plate and paddel) then once using their website, you can order from a number of UK Suppliers.

I ordered mine from AMD Essex, I think Jabbasport are also Sachs suppliers.

Also, try and look at torque rating guidelines, not bhp.

just find a manufacturer with the right grade of clutch then use their web page to find a uk distributor. helix and sachs can be special ordered through euro car parts and the like, as they deal with oe stuff normally. will have a lead but you dont have to deal with import jazz

i tryed sachs uk and they sed 385 1b feet ot torque ? i think 500 bhp would give more than that ?

what torque figure am i looking at for 500 bhp lets say ?

bhp is a multiple of rpm and torque so i am sure if you found the formula you could work it backwards

                      Power [W] =2πn[rpm]/60*Torque [N*m]

So, take engine rpm and divide by 60 [rev/s]
Multiply by 2 times pi (6.28)
                      Multiply by Torque [N*m]
Divide by 1000 to convert to [kW]
                      Mulitply by1.34 for [bhp]

It's fitted a Sachs 707 pressure plate with a SRE 8 pucked sintered friction plate on my 4000CS with engine from a 200 20V quattro fitted to the original 016 gearbox.
