We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
All I can advise with drive shaft lengths with CV joints is this:
With the vehicle resting on its wheels, you should be able to "shuffle" the driveshaft back and forth at least 10mm in order for the CV joints to take up suspension movement with bump and droop. If there is no movement you have an problem. Remove the springs so that you are looking at shock absorber travel only. IF, at full bump and droop you can still "shuffle" your shaft you should be alright.
