  • Audi urs4 2.2 clutch kit

    Hi guys

I need a new clutch kit but i don't know where to buy it....on ebay i don't find anything (probably wrong search terms but good)

    S4 1992 6speed manual.

The car is stock but i prefer a stronger clutch for a long life time and there will probably some chip upgrade in the future.

    Links to the
Sachs and luk kits are welcome!

**How long does it take to replace it because i am not going to this job myself. (if you guys say 1dag and the garage says 3days i know someone it trying to get money out of my pockets)

On my side of the pond, UrS people have been happy with Southbend clutch kits sold by Marc S. at EFI Express:

Here is some C4 UrS clutch info that I put together some time ago. Spec is not popular anymore. But Southbend still is. Note: LUK was the OE supplier. The LUK replacement kit should be " 02-025 ". But confirm this yourself.

I am no expert but did a lot of research when I needed one and I went too 034 and got a spec stage 5 clutch and billet aluminium flywheel :-) good points you cannot break it bad points it is very noisy and viciously sharp not good for road use but I would go with stage 3 for road use and would recommend flywheel if there is no budget

The first one in this ebay.de search is what you need.

          http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_odkw=...%2FS4&_sacat=0

This site has pressure plates and discs, separately.

          http://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/car-...utch-disc.html

The UrS4/S6 clutch disc is unsprung (because of the dual mass flywheel) and looks like this one from Sachs (from the website above):

Again @urs4boy for the links and the info!

I think i ll go for a standard sash clutch kit though
            - 3000 951 052
            - 3000 951 053 (i also came across this one witch is 70eur cheaper then 52)
What is the difference between those 2?

And while the box is open i might as well replace the
            - release bearing 01E141165B
-Slave cylinder (can't find the part number for the 5cyl??)
            - Master cylinder is not needed i guess unless leaking? Part number?

Your steps are correct, although, you can save a step by not removing the chrome. If you scuff all the chrome good enough, you won't have any adhesion problems. You also don't have to wet sand, Oferta silnikowa: PB silniki benzynowe, ON silniki diesla.https://autowikius.com/. W nawiasie kod silnika, czyli np. PB 2.0 (LF) oznacza silnik benzynowy o pojemnoĊ›ci 2.0 i kodzie fabrycznym LF.,you can dry sand it just fine. You don't have to sand in between coats unless there are defects or something gets in the paint.
