01E DSY catastrophic failure

Was racing a motorbike this moring (yes i know )

When i was at the lights i thought it would by nice to launch my car as i always do to smoke the guy on the Yamaha R6. I didn't turn out good and my car did not move anymore

I must admit that some time ago my transmission start to develop a loud whining noise witch only was noticeable when letting go off the throttle in gear. So i think something was already bad in the trans.

Why would you think the CV shaft snapped?

Always preload the drivetrain, and lock the rear diff on launching :-)

with how many horsepower do you drive?
soon i go to drive with about 500hp and i already have a rebuild dsy box waiting for it but if i see your pictures I doubt whether it is enough
i think it's better to make no launches from 0 to ......................?
are you going to veghel next weekend?

i'm around 600 now. I'm sure this is the result from a lot off launches yes. If you don't do that there is not a lot to worry about.
