no.i used a 01E 6-speed cbl gearbox with AAN engine from urs4 in my b2 quattro typ 85 and gearbox was shorter.
i put the origional engine mounts from 2.2 kv engine on the AAN engine and made custom gearbox mounts for cbl gearbox but you can use s2 6-speed gearbox mounts but then you need a washer on the left side

I also used 01e 6spd dgu from s6+ and s2 6spd gearbox mounts.

Finally i found a good priced 01E code DQT. Today i removed the 016 gearbox and compared the 2 and seems 016 is a bit longer. In a few days i hope i will put it on the car and see whats happening.

The gearbox is on the car. Seems that i can use stock driveshafts with machined 016 output flanges and original propshaft like you guys stated. The bolts on the flanges also need to be shortened. I need to finish my gearbox mounts and gearshift.

For the clutch i used modified 7A flywheel and also 7A disc and pressure plate. This is only for test fitting, the real clutch would be a triple disc tilton with modded 7A flywheel.

Finally i finished my transmission mounts. All i need now is to figure out my gearshift linckage.

I think i am going for the hard route with this and make it from scratch. The bad thing is that i can't think of any solution to keep the locking for reverse. Any ideas? I have already bent the 01E selector rod not to hit the tunnel.

Those are some really nice looking gearbox mounts.
Could you post some drawings/measurements for them ?
Or could you make another set for a reasonable price ?

By the time being i will have to manufacture both engine mounts and gearbox mounts for my planned swap (ABZ engine with 01E gearbox on b2 CQ) so it will be very useful to have a starting point

This is modified 01E gearbox "side", to accept modified mechanical speedo gear.
Also a little distancer in the "bottom" to align gear in the middle of "hole".

Did one on my Ur-q couple of years ago, shifter way easier than I imagined.
