Help !! cant seperate propshaft from differential

Have removed the 6 allen bolts. Have tried whacking with a rubber mallet and all ive managed to move is the cap. I have tried pulling the diff backwards . But it wont budge. Everything else is removed . i.e subframe ,driveshafts all pipes and mountings. Any tips please. Ive got the diff on a trolley jack and rear of propshaft is supported on an axle stand.

You're not hitting it hard enough!

If it's never been off before it will be stubbon.

You need to shock it to break it loose.

Big hammer but with a piece of wood between the hammer and propshaft end.
