Really no need for the quaife if you can find the v8 torsen diffs.
In my opinion.I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?Comment

I am also looking for a V8 diff. So if you know of more than 1 please let me know.
So far I have found a whole Audi V8 for 1400 Euro
Is even less that the 1800 the stealer quote me for just the diff
I am trying to find alternative ways of doing it. And Stasis webpage seems nice. Maybe Us guys can comment on it.

"My V8 CGT has a torsen in the front. It's very easy. The case cover on the tranny needs to get hogged out to accept the larger bearing. The torsen cap is hardened and turning it down to accept the smaller ID bearing would be difficult.
There is a notch in the bottom of bearing race seat in the case cover... I couldn't figure out exactly what that was for. You can't retain it when you bore the case cover, but you should have no adverse affects."
How's that? If you need more info I can send you his email address.
cheers

Yes Paul, u r right.
U can lock centre diff first, and after if u need rear diff. The locking lever has 3 positions in total.
UR G/box is way to short for S2 engine, but the way u can lock diffs is great.

I could in a week or two time, but is the same crown&Pinnon of any S2 Avant, Saloon or RS2 so you should have more to look and I am pretty sur that Coupe and Avant have the same crown but different pinnon.94' RS2 Coupe TT (Twin Torsen
