My wife has had a drive with this new clutch and she thinks its just like her stock seat Leon clutch. So that should confirm its not just my imagination. Also i talked to the clutch company in Leeds. He said they would need another stock setup to use as a reference if someone was wanting one like mine made. He said he could make solid flywheels if we got 10 people wanting a complete setup.

Des,
yeah that's sound about right if your wife depressed the pedal and feel comfy on it.My DD is a Hilux.when i have driven my UrS6 for couple days and
drive the Hilux.on first step on the Hilux pedal,i felt like the clutch is broken.it's super light compared to the SRE's.my SRE is now getting better,it feels way much lesser on juddering on standstill.remember 500kms in my country means i'm using clutch more than driving 2,000kms trip in europe lol.
i'm also interested the clutch as well if it's right.i could save the cost of left knee operation for that clutch setup lol.one of a few I5 from Asia.Comment

These may not be popular across the pond
but over here there's a company called addict
motorsports (AMD) for short and they make
a clutch kit utilizing a b7 rs4 pressure plate with
sachs mechanism. Their stage 3+ is a full face 8
pad clutch disc and holds over 600wtq with stock
pedal feel & engagement characteristics and has
a service life of over 50,000 because of the sachs
pp. The only reason I'm running my southbend is
because they only offer an aluminum flywheel and
I always try to use single piece steel. Although ben
@ttv said they could make their 1 piece steel flywheels
for an aan or any old 5 pot car and a clutch kit utilizing
a b7 rs4 pressure plate. Jason at AMD says he's put
over 75,000 miles on a kit on a car with over 600 whp/wtq.Comment

@des ask your people if they can make a steel
1 piece flywheel that can work with the b7 rs4
pressure plate. I'd be interested.Comment

If you sent them a template and had 10 people interested they would do it.
